The Washington Redskins strung together their most complete win of the season on Sunday with a 31-6 thumping of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Robert Griffin III and company were firing on all cylinders as they snapped a three-game losing streak and kept their playoff hopes very much alive. The win moves Washington into third place in the NFC East — one game behind the Dallas Cowboys who they will face in a critical Thanksgiving showdown this week. A win in ‘Big D’ would catapult the Redskins into second place.
But let’s not get too carried away just yet.
Focusing on the win over the Eagles, Griffin threw four touchdowns and had just one incomplete pass, making him the natural fit to become the 4th & Pain Champion of Week 11.
He will join the show on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Adam Carriker and Chuck Carroll relish another week of strong picks. Entering Monday night’s contest between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers, both are perfect on the weekend.
And that’s bad news for Goldberg who is in danger of losing his top spot as pigskin prognosticator on the show.
