On the business side of things, Chuck Carroll awarded the 4th & Pain Championship to Washington Redskins right tackle Tyler Polumbus for his Week 8 effort against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Washington’s line did not surrender a sack in the loss, leaving Robert Griffin III unscathed in the backfield.

Polumbus — like Carriker — became a father this week. When asked what advice he had for his teammate, the champion was quick to point out his teammate was one kid ahead of him and would instead be asking him for advice.
