Mistaken Texts to Redskins Player; Welker Will Flourish in Denver

“I will tell you what grinds my gears this week, it is people that text people that they shouldn’t be texting” says Chuck Carroll to begin his segment entitled; What Really Grinds My Gears. Unfortunately for Chuck though, the person that agitated him enough was, none other than himself. Yes, Chuck officially claims the prize of “Idiot of the Week” for his recent embarrassment.

“Who was on his way to see his girlfriend but was communicating with one of your teammates, and accidentally punches him up, I text ‘Heading over now, see you soon, xoxoxo’” Chuck says, explaining his disastrous mishap. Adam, after a small fit of laughter, shares his own story of to reassure Chuck he’s not alone.

Changing gears quickly, Adam and Chuck switch over to discussing what has been happening in free agency, especially the mass exodus of the Baltimore Ravens. They’ve disassociated with a lot of high profile names such as Ed Reed, Anquan Boldin, and a few others through trades and retirement. However, Adam points out, “you only have a certain amount of time to make your money so when you get the best offer from whoever it is, you’re probably going to go there unless you have an extreme loyalty or there’s other things on your mind.”

On the other spectrum of free agency, the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers go from an already established threat to top potential teams not only in the NFC, but in the NFL. Their additions just add to the talent each team posses on both sides of the ball, but not to be out done, there’s another team that has triumphed through trades; Denver Broncos. Wes Welker goes from Tom Brady to Peyton Manning and has Adam and Chuck wondering if was to spite Bill Belichick.
