The 2013 Washington Redskins Preseason Schedule

August 8-11 : @ Tennessee Titans
August 19 : vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
August 23-25 : vs. Buffalo Bills
August 29-31 : @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The NFL has released the 2013 preseason schedule for each team, so Adam and Chuck traverse through the Washington Redskins schedule and weigh in with their thoughts. The Redskins do get an nationally televised match up on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedEx Field, which Chuck finds as the only exciting game of the four.

While going through the list Chuck mentions the Redskins are facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the final preseason game.

“How do we always end up playing the Bucs, and it’s always the fourth game of the preseason?” Adam comments on the news.

This is the third consecutive year the Redskins will face the Buccaneers in the final game of the preseason. Chuck also points out someone from the Buccaneers whose cut at the end of training camp will be signed by Washington within 48 hours.

Adam gives insight on how players prepare for the preseason games and why the third game of the preseason is the most exciting for him. The first two games are a quick turn around from practice and not a lot of focus is on the matchup, whereas the third game is treated more as a full game and starters tend to play the longest in that game.

Now that the preseason schedule is released, the regular season is only about a month away. Be sure to let us know what your thoughts on the Redskins preseason schedule and which game you find the most exciting via Twitter, @4thAndPain.
